Piaggio India has slashed the prices of its premium gearless scooter, the Vespa LX125 on account of the festive season by about Rs. 6500. The standard Vespa LX125 was available for Rs. 74,490, now in order to push sales during this festive season of Dusshera-Diwali, the company has slashed the prices to Rs. 67,983 (both prices mentioned are of ex-showroom, Pune).
This offer has been available across dealerships since October 4 but there has been no announcement from the company as to the date till when the offer is valid. With a significant reduction in price, the LX125 becomes more desirable now and folk’ wanting to buy hurry up as this discount is limited period offer. For a price of about Rs. 68,000 the Vespa LX125 is a good deal.
Refresher – The Vespa 125 LX is powered by a 125cc engine which produces 10.06 PS of power @ 7500 RPM and 10.06 NM of torque @ 6000 RPM. It will take you around 10 seconds to reach 60kmph from standstill and touches a top speed of 90kmph. As far as mileage is concerned, it will give you around 40-42 kmpl in city conditions which will increase on long runs.
