Already enough pictures have been uploaded over the web which shows that Hyundai Motors are putting their full efforts in testing the new Next generation Hyundai i10 and is also planning to launch the same by the end of this year. The biggest story would be that the next-generation i10 will be available in 1.1-liter CRDI turbo diesel engine which has a maximum output of 75 Bhp at a torque of 150 Nm and features a variable geometry turbocharger. With the diesel power introduced underhood, Hyundai could see a sharp upswing in sales in the Indian market which has currently great demands for diesel engines.
The new i10 would turn out to be sharper by using Fluidic sculpture design philosophy and is speculated to be a little bigger in size than the current-gen i10 and smaller than i20. From the spy shots available main changes expected would be the headlamps, larger leg space and cabin room for the passenger sitting in the rear seats, height adjustable front seats, Daytime Running Light (DRL), stylish front bonnet design and beige interiors.
Hyundai might launch this hatchback christened ‘Brilliant’ in specific car markets. Expect this new Hyundai car to make its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September later this-year. In Indian markets, the i10 will be produced from the company plant in Chennai as it goes on-sale at the end of 2013 as a 2014 model. Following the launch will be the compact sedan version of the 2014 Hyundai i10.
