Hyundai recently uploaded the official pictures of what is set to be the next-generation Verna. The new Verna is slated for launch here in February 2020. Hyundai will officially debut the sedan here during the 2020 Auto Expo.
These pictures are of the Chinese-spec Verna, reportedly launching there in early 2020. The Hyundai Verna is the current leader in the C-Sedan segment here. It is not difficult to predict why it is the best in its class here.
Hyundai gives the Verna a host of interesting features, as is the case with most of their products here. The new Verna is no different, having new features such as the latest Bluelink Technology, LED headlamps and tail-lamps to name a few. Design-wise, the next-generation Verna will feature an aggressive front grille, redesigned bumpers and new LED headlamps and tail-lamps.
The interior has also undergone a massive change, making it more desirable. As far as its engine is concerned, the new Verna will come powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engines as seen on the current model. These engines will be adhering to the upcoming BS-VI emission norms.
It will come mated either to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission. By the time it arrives, it will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Toyota Yaris and the Skoda Rapid. Hyundai are expected to continue their trend of pricing the new products affordability here with the next-generation Verna.
