Along with the recent introduction of 2014 Z1000 and Z1000SX at the 2013 EICMA, Kawasaki has yet again revealed the all-new Z250 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Z250 is in fact the street version of Ninja 250 with styling cues obtained from the bigger siblings Z1000 and Z800.
The all new Z250 is featured with a muscular body and it also inherits the chassis and the engine from the new Ninja 250. It also features wide handle bars, upright riding position, headlamp cowl, fully digital instrument console, exhausts looking similar to Ninja 300 and flared fuel tank. BharathAutos readers have already read about the Z1000 and Z800’s launch in India in our earlier posts last-month. In addition to these launches, Kawasaki is also expected to launch the all new Z250 in the Indian market as the Japanese Manufacturer Kawasaki are in plans of making serious business in India.
Coming to the technical specifications, the all new Kawasaki Z250 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled four-stroke fuel-injected parallel twin engine coupled to a six-speed transmission. Information regarding power and torque has not yet been disclosed by the company. Stay tuned at BharathAutos for more information.
