The wait is over for one of the most anticipated new cars this year – the 2015 Honda Jazz is here! To be offered in a choice of petrol and diesel engine options, the price starts from Rs. 5.30 lakhs to Rs 8.59 lakhs.
Bearing little resemblance to the City sedan, the sharp and well defined character lines provides sporty and premium look to the exterior. With features like LED tail and stop lamp, tail gate spoiler, rear micro antenna, 15” sporty alloy wheels, stylish fog lamps, sleek turn indicators on door mirrors, the New Jazz truly delivers a One Class Above feeling.
On the inside, the cabin receives dual tone black and beige theme for the mid variants, and all-black for the top-end of the range. The dashboard layout is just like that of the City, equipped with a 6.2-inch touch-screen infotainment system. Voice activated navigation, Bluetooth audio streaming along with DVD/CD playback also form a part of the infotainment seen on-board the 2015 Honda Jazz.
Engine options include both petrol and diesel. The 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine delivers a total of 90 PS and 110 Nm torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT with 7-step paddle shifters. The other engine option is the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine capable of generating 100 PS power and 200 Nm torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The ARAI certified mileage of petrol is 18.7 and 19.0 kpl for the manual transmission and CVT respectively, while diesel stands at 27.3 kpl.
The new Jazz will be offered in 5 grades available in petrol and diesel variants – E, S, SV, V and VX with Manual Transmission. Additionally, the Jazz will be available in CVT in S and V petrol variants. A total of 7 colours are on offer – Sunset Orange (New and Exclusive), Carnelian Red pearl, Orchid White pearl, Golden Brown metallic, Urban Titanium metallic, Alabaster Silver metallic and Taffeta White.
The 2015 will come with a 2-year or 40,000 Km warranty as standard value for all customers.
