The photos just keep on coming for the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. After minimal camouflage picture of the motorcycle found their way onto the internet yesterday, we today have the first official pictures of the Apache RTR 200 4V leaked before its official debut this-week on January 20, 2016.
TVS had been pretty generous with teasers for its flagship Apache model giving us glimpses of how the headlamps and digital instrument cluster look like as well as completely revealing to us the silhouette design of the motorcycle, covered in a red veil.
Now, just days ahead of the bike’s official unveiling, a set of photos of the new Apache RTR 200 4V have made their way onto the internet. No idea how this happened, but it has. It’s pretty much as per what we expected – inspired from its Draken concept, the RTR 200 4V gets a muscular and no-nonsense body design.
Like on the current 160/180 model, TVS Motors has added plenty of branding in it. This includes ‘Apache’ and ‘RTR’ logo on the fuel tank, ‘RTR 200 4V’ sticker on the tailpiece, ‘TVS Racing’ sticker on the side panels, tri-colour(Indian Flag) stickers on the tail piece as well as on the front visor, faux carbon fibre accents and the racing strips on both rims.
A total of 6 colours are on offer – Red, Silver, White, Matte Black, Black and Yellow. The company has kept the bike’s weight at minimum with no excessive parts, to keep the costs on check. The Apache RTR 200 4V is expected to be around Rs 90,000 – Rs 1,00,000, ex-showroom, Chennai (depending on the non ABS and ABS variant).
