Finally the much-awaited information of Mercedes G 63 AMG has been revealed. You will be surprised to know that this form of SUV has been provided with a 6×6 wheel drive. It would rather look like a military vehicle from outside but when a person experiences the comfort inside the vehicle it would be rather like going in a S-Class interior wise. The company says that it would be 6 times the fun of driving an ordinary SUV.
The interiors leather used for seats , dashboard and door panel would be available with an option of red or light brown colors. These seats are electrically controlled with an option of being both heated or ventilated. Coming to the technical specifications, Mercedes G63 is powered with an humongous 544 horse power twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine which is connected to all the six-wheels. It is provided with a 7-speed transmission via 3 sets of portal axles due to which it has a ground clearance of 15.75 inches.
Coming to other specifications, it will have dual exhaust systems with genuine side pipes, ECO friendly start/stop system, 4-wheel electronic traction system which individually brakes the slipping wheels to maintain the flow of torque to the wheels, 3 lockable differentials (center, rear and front), ABS, LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps, 4-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, Bi-Xenon headlamps, rear view camera , headlamp washer and much more.
We’re not sure if the world is ready for this – the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 off-roader has been confirmed for production. The G-Class works in Graz, Austria will build 20-30 a year, starting in 2014, at about €410 000 (INR 2.85 crore) each.
