Mercedes today showcased its G6 3 AMG model, the car is priced at Rs. 1.46 crore (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai), It as earlier made its debut in 2012 Bejing Auto Show.
The G63 gets a new engine mated to an upgraded gearbox and new electronic driver aids. Its also comes with two-slat grille, revised bumper with larger air ducts, 20-inch wheels and some more changes.
The G63 is powered by twin turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 engine that mated to a seven-speed 7Hg-tronic gearbox will return the maximum power output of 544bhp. And what has truly impressed us is the fact that the new G63 AMG touches the o-100kmph mark in mere 5.4 seconds.
Speaking at the launch here, Mr.Eberhard Kern, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, ‘We are excited to launch this car in india, its cult status makes it the vehicle of choice of world, G-Class retains its shape, rugged design and same mission to cope with extreme conditions’.
