Maruti Suzuki’s COO,Marketing and sales, Mr. Mayank Pareek has revealed that Maruti Suzuki would preserve 45% of its market share in the auto industry by launching sub-segments of its leading cars such as Alto,Ertiga,Ritz and Swift in the next few years.Pareek also said that Maruti Suzuki has already registered a 2.4% increase in the market share in the auto industry during the financial year 2012-2013 which ended recently at the end of March 2013.
He also revealed that, the major reasons for this increase was recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga which has already made record sales in the Indian domestic market following which the other reason was decline in market shares from rivals such as Tata,General motors,Volkswagen and Ford.Maruti Suzuki has also announced that it would launch a new compact car as the Renault which would tougher than the current versions.
