Mahindra recently confirmed the launch a longer wheelbase TUV300 sometime this-month. The production version of the car has been spotted, this was without wearing any camouflage. News has come that the Xylo will make way for this model in Mahindra’s lineup.
The snapped images of the TUV300 plus was spotted in the Internet. Mahindra will give the car then new mHawk D120, 1.99-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine. This engine producers 121.5 BHP of power and 280 Nm of torque.
It also seems likely that the car will be powered by the 1.5-litre diesel engine, seen on the TUV300. The TUV300 Plus is expected to be a 9-Seater, with the last row featuring seats facing each other. Looking at the rear, the tail lights extend to the sides and the car features 16 inch wheels besides a longer wheelbase.
Mahindra is expected to price the TUV300 plus aggressively, just as they did for the TUV300 a couple of years Ago. The TUV300 will rival the Maruti Ertiga for sales in the affordable MPV segment. It remains to be seen whether Mahindra could do well in this segment since the slow selling Xylo will be discontinued for it.
