This tough-looking SUV is actually a reskinned Mahindra TUV300. It’s design cues are based on Jeep Cherokee from 2014, not sold in India. The result is this Cherokee 300.
If you find a legendary Jeep a little out of your budget, here is a cheaper alternative. Thanks to one Prasad Chowdary from Kerala, who has been extensively modified his TUV300 to look like an expensive Jeep Cherokee that costs upward of INR 1 Crore.
Comprehensive design changes to the front fascia include a unique 7-slat body-coloured grille with brushed silver inserts, re-designed bumper’s radiator intake gets silver appliqué and Bi-Xenon units identical from the Audi Q3. Though, the square fog lamps remained unchanged.
At the rear, the modifiers have ditched the rear spare wheel and added a Jeep badge. Although the modified Mahindra TUV300 might not have the same looks as that of a replica of the Jeep Cherokee SUV. Nonetheless, the SUV is good enough to grab the attention when it passes on the road.
This modification by Sunmac Automotive will cost you Rs 1.5 lakhs apart from the donor vehicle.
