Mahindra keen on bringing 3 new UV’s in India

Mahindra and Mahindra will look to expand its footwork in the growing electric vehicle (EV) segment. The auto maker currently sells the e20 and eVerito in that segment, but given the government’s plant to electrify cars by 2030, the company will surely look to be a part of it. Launchers are scheduled to take place here in 2019-20.

Mahindra recently presented the concept of electric vehicles in a seminar held at New Delhi. Reports also suggest that the auto maker is working on electric cars in the range between 250 km in 300 km. Development has already taken place, with the company trying hard to introduce high-intensity batteries to its vehicles.

Mahindra presented the KUV100, Tivoli and XUV Aero concept at its presentation recently. It now seems that these 3 maybe the likely cars to spearhead Mahindra electric generation of vehicles. The KUV100 Electric and the Ssangyong Tivoli offers a range of up to 350 km and 250 km respectively.

There is no news yet about the XUV Aero concept, but it may arise more sooner than later. Highly efficient power trains are also set to get the nod, with the power of 150 Kw and peak torque of 400 Nm. Expect these cars to be exciting when launched, since they may cater to another need to the EV segment.
