The luxury cars owned by an actress Leena Maria Paul and her boyfriend Sukash Chandrasekar have been seized by Canara bank in connection with the Rs 19 crore bank fraud case.
The actress is said to be fond of luxury cars, and had bought nine of them – including a Rolls Royce Phantom, Nissan GTR, Aston Martin Vantage V8, Hummer H2, Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Rover Range Rover, BMW 530d, Audi A4 and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X. The photo (above) of the nine luxury cars parked at her rented farmhouse in South Delhi, were seized on May-2013.
Now these nine luxury cars still sits in a secret yard in Chennai. The recent photos (below) of these cars shed us tears, as the cars were vandalized to some stolen parts especially on the Rolls Royce Phantom and Aston Martin Vantage. It is also rumoured that the Maria Paul didn’t give them-up, thus, the officials had to break open the windows to start them due to which Aston Martin’s airbags deployed and the Rolls Royce couldn’t be towed so they used JCB to lift the vehicle.
It’s believed that these nine luxury cars will be auctioned-off soon. But in this condition, we don’t think the bank would get the even half-the-market price of these cars. Worst of all is that 4 of her impounded cars – Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, Audi A4, Rolls Royce Phantom and BMW 530d, were seen in the music album were people are seen standing, sitting and dancing on top of these fancy cars.
And the funniest thing on this article is about the Rolls Royce Phantom. This Phantom is the unluckiest Rolls-Royce ever because it was earlier used by ‘The Mobile Store’ for promotion, it had travelled around almost all the cities in India, tackled all kinds of Indian roads with patholes, given free rides for common citizens, ruined the exclusivity of the Rolls Royce brand as it was a moving billboard for mobile company and a crude colour combination had wasted an elegant car.
Further, this Rolls Royce was abandoned due to scam, it had to be lifted from the actress residence with the help of JCB. The clueless people stand, sit and dance on top of this Phantom on a music video. The flagship Rolls-Royce is left to rust in a random yard with the windows shattered, windshield beading removed, front bumper removed and dent on the boot-lid. The interiors too might be ripped-off like the Aston Martin. This beauty was newly purchased by the Managing Director of Essar Group for his personnel use.
