Recently Land Rover updates India website with Evoque information, now JLR will launch the Land Rover Evoque SUV on the 4th November, 2011. The Evoque SUV will directly compete against BMW X3 and the Audi Q5 that will be directly imported from its UK Hailwood plant.
Jaguar Land Rover India will begin assembling the Evoque at India through CKD kits which will enable the buyers to witness a steep dip in price compared to the CBU. Once launched, one can expect the Evoque SUV will be priced at Rs 50 to 63-lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Jaguar-Land Rover dealers in India have already started taking advance booking for prospective buyers as Tata Motors allotted a fixed number of Evoques for sale in India. The company already has a very strong demand for the Evoque SUV which is booked until the middle of 2012.
As we told earlier Range Rover Evoque will be offered in three trim levels including Pure, Prestige and Dynamic for both petrol and diesel versions.
Refresher – The Range Rover Evoque SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine including a 2.0-litre, 240-bhp of power and 340Nm of torque and on the other side, the diesel engine will be offered in a 2.2-litre engine generating 190-bhp of power and 420Nm of peak torque. These engines are mated to a six speed automatic transmission and will be offered in a permanent all wheel drive system.
