Jeep India launched the fully-loaded version of the Compass called ‘Compass Trailhawk’ priced at INR 26.8 lakh (ex-showroom), which is INR 10.2 lakh more than base variant and costs about INR 3.7 lakh more than the previous top-of-the-line variant.
The Compass Trailhawk comes with Jeep’s Active Drive Low 4×4 system that includes a 20:1 crawl ratio and low range, hill-descent control and an additional Rock mode for the Selec-Terrain system offers better off-roading. It comes with Rock Mode in addition to Auto, Sand, Mud and Snow.
Apart from this, the Trail-Rated SUV benefits from 30 mm higher ground clearance, and better approach (26.5 degrees), departure (31.6 degrees) and ramp break-over (21.2 degrees) angles. Powered by a BS-VI 2.0-litre Multijet II engine producing 173PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque, paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Trail Rated badges are seen throughout its exterior to distinctive it from the regular ones. It has a unique styling with Matte Grey Surrounds in a 7-slotted front grille, fog lamps with surrounds, unique 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, Trail Rated badge, Trailhawk branding, anti glare decals on its bonnet, and red towing hooks at the rear.
