The 2020 Jeep Compass (facelift) was unveiled by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) for foreign markets.
The 2020 Compass features minor cosmetic updates, including a slightly revised front grille with chrome inserts and a wraparound and honeycomb mesh headlights with integrated daytime running LED lights. The SUV is offered with 16- to 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Compass facelift has soft touch panels and door panels. It comes with an 8.4-inch UConnect 5 touchscreen infotainment header. It’s compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also supports over-the-air (OTA) upgrades.
The 2020 Jeep Compass is available on the international market with a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing either 128 BHP or 148 BHP. The torque rating for both tunes is 270 Nm. This engine comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a front wheel drive.
A plug-in hybrid version powered by the same 1.3-litre turbo petrol and an electric motor is also available in selected markets. It is also available in two tune states-187 BHP and 237 BHP. Plug-in hybrid versions come with all-wheel drive only.
The third engine option is a 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 118 BHP and 320 Nm. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.
