Mercedes-Maybach S600 – Is the long wheelbase Mercedes S-Class!

When Mercedes announced to be working on a super-luxury version of the S-Class, we were expecting a sort of limousine type deal since they gave us hope for the return of the S-Class Pullman, given the fact that Benz confirmed to revitalize the Maybach nameplate. But instead, they just gave us a really long normal S-Class, meaning there’s no solid space and windows in between the driver and rear passenger doors.

Either way, welcome to the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600, which again, is just a really really long and luxurious four-seat S-Class. This beast is 8.1 inches longer than the normal S-Class in whole, with 7.9 of those 8.1 inches going into the wheelbase. That’s four inches longer than a Bentley Mulsanne’s wheelbase!

Though the size isn’t the only reason to entice buyers of this type of car as the Mercedes-Maybach S600 is also the world’s most luxurious S-Class with more high-quality materials than one could imagine. There’s even an optional chauffeur package for the most esteemed customer, who obviously seeks to be driven rather than drive him or herself–that’s way too plebian. This package includes three-inches of legroom to the rear-passenger side backseat, a standard massage function, and even a recliner function with leg rests. Jarvis, can you please pass the caviar? Pinkies up folks!

Under the hood sits Mercedes-Benz’s typical 6.0L twin-turbocharged V12 with 523hp and 830 Nm of torque to motivate almost 2,272 kgs worth of S-Class.

Should you fancy one, they’re set to arrive next April, just make sure you have at least 187,841 euros (around INR 1.49 crore).
