The British car marquee, Jaguar has silently added a new Prestige mid-variant of its XE line-up on-sale in India. With a price tag of Rs 43.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the Prestige variant is slotted between the base Pure and top-end Portfolio variants.
As far as features are concerned, the new Jaguar XE Prestige variant comes with Taurus leather seats with driver seat memory, 380W Meridian sound system, ambient lighting, sunroof and rear parking camera. It also gets safety features like Electric Powered Assisted Steering (EPAS) and All Surface Progress Control (ASPC).
In terms of mechanicals, the Jaguar XE Prestige retains the 2.0-litre petrol engine that develops 198 BHP of power and 320 Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which is standard across all the three variants.
