Already news about Yamaha developing a quarter liter bike has already been available over the cyber space over sometime from now. The latest report from Yamaha Indonesia had confirmed that Yamaha was already developing the quarter liter bike whose launch is expected to take place before the end of 2013.
After the recent launch of KTM’s Duke 390 and Duke 200 in the emerging Indian market, Yamaha is also developing a 250 cc naked street bike according to the recent reports from TMC Blog. The new 250 cc bike from Yamaha would be based on the existing FZ series. Sources from Auto Gadget expect Yamaha to name the upcoming 250 cc bike as FZ-25.
It would feature excellent ride and handling, Telescopic suspension at the front and Mono shocks at the rear along with inheriting the digital instrument cluster from FZ. Apart from this, Yamaha’s new 250 cc bike would be powered with a 2 cylinder 250 cc DOHC engine coupled to a six speed transmission, producing maximum power output between 25-30 BHP.
