Hyundai Fluidic design after a successful debut in Hyundai Verna Fluidic and then in the upcoming new Santa Fe SUV, is almost ready to transform Hyundai i20. Notably, just before the launch of the new Fluidic designed Hyundai i20, the Korean car maker has reportedly stopped booking for the hatchback. As part of the fluidic design, the i20 will be getting a new front face which is more streamlined in addition to new headlamps and new grille and as usual new bumpers. At the rear as well, the new Hyundai i20 will feature new tail lamps and new garnishing on the rear number plate. The new Hyundai interiors are also expected to get a makeover especially new gizmos and voice control feature is highly anticipated. Another feature that may make its place in the i20 new is cruise control. Besides this, i20 has almost all the features of a premium hatchback.

The new i20 is expected to have a similar engine configuration however, the engines may be tuned to be more frugal and performance driven than the existing models. The 1.2L Kappa and 1.4 Gamma petrol engines will continue their service along with the 1.4L CRDi engine. However, the 1.4 Gamma engine may be mated to a six speed automatic transmission compared to the four speed currently.

Besides the new i20 making its way soon, Hyundai is expected to launch Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra in India soon. It is expected that the second innings of these two cars in India will be much more promising than the earlier one and especially when the two have been acclaimed as best cars worldwide.
