The Japanese automaker Honda is continuously revealing some information in different parts of the country. Honda unveiled the 2014 Honda Jazz in Japan after which the Honda’s Subsidiary in Thailand also updated its hatchback Honda Brio celebrating two years since its launch. After these couple of information revealed by the different subsidiaries of Honda, Honda Indonesia has also released teaser images of Honda Brio LMPV (Low Multi-Purpose Vehicle) Concept, all of which has been updated in our previous posts at BharathAutos.
After this, Honda is now planning to launch the all new Brio based LMPV (Low Multi Purpose Vehicle), diesel version of Honda City and the next generation Honda Jazz at the 2014 Auto Expo. Apart from this, Honda has also plans for launching Jazz based compact SUV by the end of next year or early 2015. Seeing the excellent response from Honda Amaze which was the first diesel engine car introduced by Honda in the Indian market, Honda has also planned to launch the above 4 new cars in its segment of diesel engines in India.
In order to achieve this, Honda has already invested an amount of Rs 2500 crore on its Rajasthan plant which is expected to be operational by mid 2014. As per reports, this will take the firm’s twelve-monthly (yearly) capacitance to 22.4 lakh vehicle units. Honda India will also increase their dealer network in order to increase their sales even further in the Indian market.
