Like its head-on rivals the Hyundai Elite i20 and the Maruti Baleno, the Jazz too now gets dual airbags (driver and passenger) as standard across all trims.
Earlier the dual airbags were limited only in the SV, V and VX trim levels, now even the base E and S trim levels come with dual front airbags. However, the increased safety isn’t a gift from the Japanese car maker, instead the prices of the E and S trim levels have been increased by Rs. 12,000/-.
In recent times, few automakers have started offering airbags as standard across the entire range.
