The Honda City that you see here receives cosmetic add-ons along with some minor interior upgrades for 2016 at the Auto Expo 2016.
Exterior-wise, the City is fitted with a bodykit that comprises of a front spoiler, DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), sunroof, skirts on the sides, a rear bumper spoiler and an additional spoiler for the trunk lip. Furthermore, it is based on the Honda City VX (O) BL painted in Premium White Orchid Pearl exterior shade.
Inside, additional items include a full-black interior accompanied with silver accents, and seats too wrapped in black leather upholstery. To compete with its direct rival the Maruti Ciaz’s RS version, the company has added few cosmetic add-ons to give City a sporty appeal, however, the prices for the accessories are not revealed by Honda Cars India.
No modifications have been done to the City kitted-up model. The Indian-spec version comes with a choice of a 100 PS/200 Nm 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox or a 118 PS/145 Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol mill mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Honda City VX (O) BL is priced at Rs 10.74 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 11.91 lakh for the diesel variant (ex-showroom prices, New Delhi).
