Honda’s Super Sport CBR range made an entry into the Indian market through their CBR250R which was launched back in 2011. As per the reports obtained across the web, Honda has also stopped full-scale production of the CBR250R in order to introduce CBR300R which is actually rumored to be launched by March 2015 in the Indian market.
The upcoming CBR300R features telescopic front fork, front and rear disc brakes, new longer exhaust wrapped in chrome, new body decals, revised full fairing, dual headlamp setup which is actually like a bigger fire blade, rear monoshock, analogue and digital speedometer with different backlit, 5 spoke black alloy wheels and optional/standard C-ABS system.
Coming to the technical specifications, Honda’s CBR300R would be powered with 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-stroke motor coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission producing a maximum power of 30.4 BHP at a maximum torque of 27 NM. Honda’s upcoming CBR300R would weigh 8 kg lesser and the price tag is expected to increase by roughly INR 20000 than the outgoing model in the Indian market. Also the new CBR300R is expected to be available in new colors whose information is not yet available.
