Alongside the Maestro Edge, Hero MotoCorp also unveiled yet another new offering – the Hero Duet. It will be on-sale across India later this-year.
The Duet will be positioned between the Maestro Edge and the Pleasure, targeting at the Activa-i. However, it boasts of a metal body and that adds 6kg to its kerb weight over the Maestro Edge. As far design is concerned, the Duet looks quite attractive. It gets a 3D emblem and chrome stripe on the side to give it a premium look.
Feature-wise, the Duet sports an under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening, remote fuel-lid opening, pass switch, service reminder, side stand indicator, illuminated storage compartment, twin helmet holder and twin parking lamps. Further comes with an integrated braking system and telescopic fork suspension at the front.
First in-house developed 110cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine produces 8.31 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm, delivering an impressive mileage of 63.8 kmpl. Like the Maestro Edge, the Duet is available in 2 variants – VX and LX, and total of 6 colour options – Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Silver White, Grace Grey, Matte Nature Green, Panther Black and Vernier Grey.
