India’s leading passenger vehicle manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki today announced the launch of an all-new VXi+ trim for India’s most loved car, WagonR. The latest addition to the WagonR family, is basically the Stingray model. It is available in both automatic and manual transmission variants.
With the addition of Midnight Blue, the WagonR is now available in seven exciting colours.
This new trim level offers a wide array of new features including Projector headlamps, stylish front grill, alloy wheels and side skirts. The piano black finish adds style to the dual tone interior colour scheme. The WagonR Vxi+ comes with Dual Airbags, Anti-Lock braking System with Electronic brake – force distribution system, as optional.
The company has also added a new Midnight Blue shade to the WagonR’s colour palette. The WagonR is now available with 7 colour options – Midnight Blue, Breeze Blue, Passion Red, Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Superior White and Bakers Chocolate. In the Vxi+ trim, a total of 4 variants are on offer – VXi+, VXi+(O), VXi+ AGS, VXi+ (O) AGS. An optional fitment includes dual front airbags and ABS with EBD.
The WagonR VXi+ is basically the Stingray with enhanced exteriors and interiors.
It will be offered with the same 1.0-litre K-Series petrol engine that delivers 67 BHP and 90 Nm. The engine is offered with 2 transmission options – a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT, which is marketed has Auto Gear Shift (AGS) technology. Coincidentally, both the WagonR manual and AMT deliver exactly the same fuel-efficiency of 20.51 KMPL.
