GT Green. Thank Royal Enfield for that. There have been some changes to the Continental GT for now with an introduction of the GT Black in March-2015, whereas the GT Yellow colour has been discontinued.
A new colour option for its Continental GT motorcycle called ‘GT Green’, additional to the existing Royal Red and GT Black colour options. The new green colour is a dark shade of green that resembles the colour used by the army. The seat comes with a brown coloured cover which adds a nice blend of contrast to the motorcycle.
The Continental GT continues to use the same single-cylinder, 535cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with electronically-controlled fuel-injection as before. The motor delivers 29bhp of power and 44 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Continental GT is capable of reaching a top speed of 140 kmph and comes loaded with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres on its 18-inch wheels.
Bookings for the green-coloured Continental GT have already commenced across India at Royal Enfield showrooms at no extra cost.
