Royal Enfield has released a new colour option for its Continental GT motorcycle called ‘GT Black’, adding to the existing Royal Red and GT Yellow colour options for the Continental GT.
Apart from the new colour option, the Continental GT gets brown-coloured seat.
The new black colour will improve the weak selling model’s appeal as it is more popular colour choice and looks classy, obviously targeted at customers who are considering the red and yellow colours too flashy for their liking. It’s priced at Rs 1.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for black color which is similar to other two colour variants.
The Continental GT continues to use the same single-cylinder, 535cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with electronically-controlled fuel-injection as before. The motor delivers 29bhp of power and 44 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Continental GT is capable of reaching a top speed of 140 kmph and comes loaded with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres on its 18-inch wheels.
Bookings for the black-coloured Continental GT have already commenced across India at Royal Enfield showrooms at no extra cost.
