Force Motors, the company known for its highly successful product, “Tempo Traveller” and is already selling in good numbers of about 20,000 units a year. Now the company plans to give it a facelift which will include new clear lens headlights with LED indicators, a new grille and fresh graphics to boost the sales.
Force started selling select versions of the Traveller last year with the BS3 OM611 engine producing 129PS of power while the old OM616 engine has also been upgraded to BS4 norms. A new Euro4 CNG variant is also in the pipeline.
Currently the Traveller is available in a choice of wheelbases with seating options ranging from driver+5 passengers to driver+20 passengers. As per Overdrive the company is currently working on an even longer wheelbase 28-seater variant. Force Motors all new MPV is also in pipeline, with Daimler AG collaboration. Company has already inked a deal with Daimler to source technology for this MPV.
