Ducati launches Scrambler Mach 2.0, available in select cities only

Italian Marquee Ducati unveiled their next-generation of the Scrambler Mach 2.0. As of reports, the company will sell the bikes in its dealerships present only at select cities. These cities include the Delhi-NCR region, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore and Kochi.

Features include a black exhaust, cross-section aluminium handlebars, a flat seat and cylindrical head covers. These features give the bike a distinct personality and Ducati will like the trend to continue. It will employ an air-cooled, L-twin, 803cc engine, seen on the outgoing Scrambler.

This engine produces 75 BHP of power and 68 Nm of torque and is capable of accelerating from 0-100 in 5.05 seconds. Ducati has partnered with Roland Sands, a renown design house for bikes, to develop the Scrambler Mach II. It seems the design is a bit more aggressive and this will help Ducati in sales.

The Scrambler Mach II is inspired by the Mach I 250, globally launched a long time ago. Pricing it expected to be at Rs. 8.52 lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi). Rivals include the Triumph Bonneville Street Twin and to some extent, the Harley Davidson Street 750.
