Cristiano Ronaldo is well known for his love of fast cars. He already owns Bugatti Chiron and Bugatti Veyron. Though his garage also contains a Phantom Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini Aventador and Ferrari F430 and others. His latest acquisition is nothing but a limited-edition Bugatti Centodieci. After guiding his team to victory for the 36th Serie A title, this is purchased as a gift to himself. The Bugatti Centodieci, it goes without saying, is a rarity, 1 of 10.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal’s national footballer and Juventus star is now the owner of a limited-edition Bugatti Centodieci, of which there will be just nine other cars across the globe. The car is going to grace his garage with delivery expected by 2021 very soon.
It is precisely because the footballer has a special friendship with Bugatti that the reason why Ronaldo chose this model is important. It is worth remembering that Bugatti and Nike teamed-up and presented Cristiano Ronaldo with a special ankle boot while the launch of the two brands was also instrumental in the launch of the ‘Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Dieci,’ inspired by Bugatti La Voiture Noire Centodieci. The latest addition, further swells the already costly garage for Ronaldo.
Limited to just 10 units, Bugatti La Voiture Noire accelerates from 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds. The pegged top speed is 236 mph (380 kph). Bugatti Centodieci sports stacked quad exhausts with an 8.0-liter W16 engine, and 1600 horsepower. Ronaldo’s car with the colors of the sport team, black and white to champion the legacy of the Turin star.
In March-2019, Bugatti revealed the limited-edition hypercar as an EB110 (Centodieci, meaning ‘one hundred and ten’). Bugatti also revealed La Voiture Noire at the time, which means ‘The Black Ride.’ One of this kind vehicle retails for €16.5 M ($18.68 M) inclusive of taxes. It had been valued at €11 million before taxes.
Among the more recent purchases by the footballer is a £600,000 Mercedes G Wagon which he got on his 35th birthday in February as a gift from his wife, Georgina Rodriguez. He has also procured a brand-new $7.2 million yacht to be used for family holidays.
The yacht was customized at Viareggio’s Azimut-Benetti shipyards and is consists of 5 cabins, 6 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas and a sun desk. It also has a kitchen with dining room and chef and was delivered last-month to the footballer.
