General Motors India has launched a much-awaited sedan version of Sail U-VA, it will sold as ‘Sail’. The Sail sedan is the replacement for the flop Aveo sedan. Its introductory starting price of Rs 4.99 lakhs for the petrol version has left even the dealers surprised, as this is just about Rs 60,000 more than that of the hatch variant.

Although the Sail sedan may not be as stylish as Swift DZire or VW Vento but certainly looks much better and modern than other rivals like Ford Fiesta and Toyota Etios. Since the new sedan by Chevrolet has been priced well, it will have instant sales boost and it will also give a considerable threat to Maruti Swift Dzire, Toyota Etios and Tata Manza.
Like the Aveo sedan, the Sail sedan too is very spacious from inside. It offers ample headroom, comfortable seating for 5 adults, Corvette-inspired dual cockpit design, best legroom in the segment, smart storage spaces, entertainment system with Bluetooth for pairing upto five phones to stream audio.
