The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs. 12.49 lakh (Ex-showroom, Chennai). However, the deliveries are set to commence from July-2016 onwards.
In India, the D-Max V-Cross was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The model on display offered automatic climate control, steering mounted audio controls, 6-way adjustable driver seat, a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system, a multi information display and rear seats that split 60:40.
The V-Cross is based on the new D-Max Crew Cab pickup truck, which shares its underpinnings with the Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV. It is powered only a 2.5-litre diesel motor making 134hp and 320Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and gets shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive. It competes with the Tata Xenon XT priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi).
