BA readers know that the launch of Chevrolet Sail sedan is scheduled to be on the 1st of February. As the official launch is just days away, General Motors India has gone live with the teaser website early this-month, now the company has released a 11 seconds teaser video of the upcoming Chevrolet Sail sedan. Also the Sail sedan had made its debut at the ongoing 2013 Detroit Motor Show.
In China, the Sail hatchback and sedan have been big sellers for GM, and the car maker will be hoping that some of this success rubs off on the Indian models as well.
Refresher – Chevrolet Sail sedan will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is the 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated SMARTECH motor that outputs a peak power of 86 PS while peak torque is rated at 113 Nm. This petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.3-litre turbo diesel engine outputs 77 Bhp-210 Nm and is also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
