BMW opens largest showroom worldwide in Abu Dhabi worth Rs. 405 crores

BMW SHOWROOM OPENING IN ABU DHABI

Bayerische Motoren Werke, in short BMW has opened their all new car showroom in Abu Dhabi earlier this week, but this one is not just any other BMW car showroom, it is The BMW Car Showroom. Welcome to the largest BMW car showroom in the world, located in Umm Al Nar, Abu Dhabi. Built at a cost of more than $81 million (Rs 405 crores), the new BMW showroom in Abu Dhabi is built over a space of 35,000 square meters, enough to house 120 cars, service 80 cars and a parking space for 172 cars all at the same time.

World’s largest BMW car showroom is built by Abu Dhabi Motors, official importer of BMW cars, including Mini and Rolls Royce, in Abu Dhabi. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the who’s who of Abu Dhabi. On the guest list, there were over 1,000 entries of VIP’s which included famous personalities, politicians, celebrities, businessman, and top BMW officials.

The facility was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubark Al Nahyan, Minister of Scientific Research and Higher Education. Mr Ian Robertson, Marketing and Sales Board Member, BMW AG & Chairman, Rolls Royce was present at the inauguration along with Mr Graeme Grieve, Importer Markets, VP, BMW AG and Mr Adrian Van Hooydonk, Director, BMW Group Design.
