BMW India's new dealership facility opened in Mangalore

BMW India has inaugurated its 33rd showroom in Mangalore, named as Navnit Motors. The new facility, located at Survey No 48, Padil, Kannur Village, Mangalore, Karnataka, is headed by Navnit Kachalia, who is the Chairman and Managing Director of Navnit Group. At the showroom venue, Mr. Philipp von Sahr President, BMW Group India arrived and addressed media persons.

Spread over 27,000 sq ft, the new dealership consists of an ultra-modern showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory.  The design of the showroom is based on BMW’s signature layout, Urban Street Display concept and the workshop carries its design cues from Reception at the Car (RATC) and has a consultation and service lounge in the after sales area. While the showroom can display up to 5 cars, the workshop has 5 service facilities capable of servicing up to 20 cars each day.

About 15 employees of Navnit Motors have been enlisted to provide sales and services to customers who choose to buy and service their vehicles at this outlet. Employees have been trained as per standards of BMW at facilities in Singapore, Germany and Malaysia.

 
Mr. Philipp von Sahr, President, BMW Group India said –

“Mangalore is one of the fastest growing non-metro cities in South India and will play an important role in BMW’s market offensive in India. By end of 2014, BMW India will aggressively expand its dealer network by increasing the number of sales outlets to 50 across major metropolitan centers and emerging markets in India.”
