Launched in March-2016, Bajaj V15 carries a feel of patriotism and proud in itself. It has been a best-seller for Bajaj Auto for the past few months.
A winner right from the time of launch, Bajaj V15 is the quickest in its segment to achieve sales of over 100,000 units in this time frame. At the moment 25,000 units are manufactured per month, but the demand has pushed Bajaj to hike its production, thus the company plans to increase production from September to meet the growing demand.
Apart from the striking design, the buyers are happy that they get to own a part of proud history ‘INS Vikrant’. Already tasted the success with the ‘V’ brand, the company has announced to launch two more motorcycles under the ‘V’ brand soon.
Refresher: The engine on the Bajaj V15 is an 150cc single-cylinder air cooled unit with twin-spark technology, which develops maximum power of 11.83 BHP @ 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 13 NM @ 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The V15 will hit a top speed of 110 KMPH yet return a decent fuel economy of 50 KMPL.
