In May-2016, we have posted pictures of the facelifted Honda Brio revealed in Indonesia. The spy pictures here were snapped at a dealership in India, the launch is scheduled for coming weeks in the Indian market.
The restyling can be seen quite clearly as compared to the current model – the whole front portion of Brio has been reworked, offering a sportier stance. These revisions include a new larger radiator grille, faux intakes that house the foglamps and new black front grille that houses an upright Honda logo. The side profile and alloy wheel design of the car remain identical to that of the current model.
Over on the inside, the facelifted Brio will receive an updated cabin and dashboard similar to that of the Honda Amaze facelift – to keep things fresh. This includes all black with faux silver embellishers and a mix of matte plastic and piano black trim materials. The instrument console in larger and sports new dials but it doesn’t get the large MID with FE meter from the Amaze.
Noteworthy features include an automatic climate control, Honda Connect mobile services, steering-mounted buttons and an all new 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth streaming and telephony. Powering duty will be continued to be handled by 1.2-litre i-VTEC 4 cyl petrol engine that develop of 88 PS and 109 Nm of torque paired to 5-speed manual gearbox. No diesel engine will be on offer.
