Bajaj Auto has silently introduced a new exterior colour for its popular Bajaj V15. Called Cocktail Wine Red, the new shade is similar to that offered for the Avenger and Pulsar range. Here, we bring you live images of the V15 in the new paint finish for your consideration.
As you can see, the new body colour is accompanied by a same body graphics but in black colour. This replaces the red-coloured graphics offered in the existing colours – Ebony Black and Pearl White. Apart from the addition of new colour option, the motorcycle does not receive any mechanical changes.
Noteworthy features include a 60W halogen headlamp, analog-digital instrument cluster with colour changing LED indications (including fuel gauge), wide handlebar, premium textured seat, stubby exhaust canister, 10-spoke black alloy wheels, wide profile tyres, disc brake up-front, 33mm diameter telescopic fork with a dust cover, twin shock absorber on swingarm, a retro-styled LED tail-lamp and a removable rear seat cowl.
Refresher: The engine on the Bajaj V15 is an 150cc single-cylinder air cooled unit with twin-spark technology, which develops maximum power of 11.83 BHP @ 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 13 NM @ 5500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The V15 will hit a top speed of 110 KMPH yet return a decent fuel economy of 50 KMPL.
