It’s been a long time coming, but come it will. Next-month, in fact. We’re of course talking about the long-overdue arrival of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 on Indian roads. But before we get the full details, here’s another short peek at it!
We’ve already seen plenty of the Pulsar CS400 spyshots, first sighting in April-2016, and then the test-mules were spotted frequently. However, in the recent spy pictures the Pulsar CS400 has been spotted for the first time without any camouflage by AutoCarIndia and Motoroids. The launch is confirmed for sometime next-month (August-2016) with an expected pricing of under Rs. 1.80 lakh.
Sharing the underpinnings with the KTM Duke 390, it will be offered by a similar 373.2 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine will use Bajaj’s patented triple spark technology and a 6-speed transmission with revised gear ratios. Noteworthy features include the futuristic looking LED headlamps, auxiliary digital display on the fuel tank, meaty tyres, stubby silencer and the signature twin LED taillight strips.
The question here is will a single-channel ABS offered as standard? While a dual-channel ABS could be made optional.
