Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS gets dual-tone White & Black paint job
Pune-based two wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto has dropped a teaser image of new Pulsar 200NS on the official Bajaj Pulsar Facebook page with a screaming teaser ‘THE DEVIL HAS NO SHADES OF GREY. THE PULSAR 200NS IN CRISP BLACK AND WHITE’. Furthermore, commenting on the same the company says ‘Coming soon to a Bajaj Showroom in your neighbourhood!’.
If we clearly look at the above picture you can make out the Pulsar 200NS seen here is not a regular variant. Although it features same body panels gets the new dual-tone white and black paint job on front cowl, front fender, front mudguard and rear fender, along with a new streaky design decals. Also note the presence of a much needed tank pad, which was earlier missing on the Indian version. While the BMW R1200GS inspired rear tyre hugger on the 200NS is absent.
Being released with a new skin suggests that the dual-tone Pulsar 200NS will receive the same mechanical hardware as compared to its earlier counterpart. The pricing is expected to be slightly high, when compared to the regular variant. Also don’t be surprised if Bajaj introduces the dual-tone Pulsar 200NS as the limited edition or special edition variants.
Refresher – Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS will be powered by 200 cc engine, with SOHC 4 valve engine with triple sparks plugs producing 23.17 BHP of peak power at 9500 RPM and 18.3 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM, Bajaj claim the Pulsar 200 NS will hit 60 km/h in 3.61 seconds and 100 km/h in just 9.83 seconds. The Pulsar 200 NS is not the fastest Indian with a top speed of 136 km/h. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the Pulsar 200 NS uses liquid cooling. With the use of lighter components, the Pulsar 200 NS weighs 145 kgs.
