Audi Q3 1.4 TFSI – petrol version launched in India, Rs. 32.20 lakh

Audi India has launched the Q3 petrol in the time when the Indian market is showing a clear inclination towards petrol-powered vehicles.

Priced at Rs. 32.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Q3 becomes the first and only Audi SUV to be offered with a petrol engine option in the country. Powered by a 1.4-litre 4-cyl TFSI engine that develops 150 BHP and 250 Nm of torque paired with a six-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox as standard.

The Q3 is now on-sale with the petrol A4’s 150hp, 1.4-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol engine.

Audi doesn’t offer the petrol Q3 with quattro all-wheel-drive option, with power sent solely to the front-wheels. The company claims that the Q3 1.4 TFSI can sprint from 0-100 km/h sprint in 8.9 seconds, and can average a fuel mileage of 16.9 KMPL. While its rival GLA gets a petrol in addition to a diesel motor the X1 is only available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine.

Noteworthy features on the petrol Q3 include an LED headlights with DRLs, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, MMI infotainment system, cruise control, coloured driver information display, electromechanical parking brake and 17-inch alloys with 235/55 section tyres.

With the introduction of the new Q3 petrol, the Audi Q3 is available in 3 engine options in India – 1.4 TFSI FWD, 2.0 TDI FWD and 2.0 TDI Quattro. Bookings for the new petrol Q3 are now open across all authorized Audi dealerships in the country.
