TVS Motor Company showcased the world-premier of its soon to be developed electric scooter, christened ‘the Creon’. The Creon was shown in concept form at the Auto Expo and will represent TVS initiative for a green future. It will sport a light-weight body platform, enabling it to give an optimum centre of gravity distribution.
The Creon consists of features, which have been jointly developed with Intel. Those include a tachometer, trip meter, odometer eeand battery charge displayed by a TFT screen. App based features like safety, park assist, anti-theft and GPS navigation are also included along with ABS at both disc brakes.
It will come powered by 3 lithium – ion battery, delivering 12 kw of power. The Creon is capable of acceleration from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds and the batteries boost a range of 80km. Diamond-cut alloy wheels are being sported by the Creon, with wide section of TVS Remora Tubeless tyres for better grip and stability.
The Creon sports an aluminum light weight perimeter frame work, which ensures stiffness and enhances handling. It has a rapid charging time of 60 minutes, for 80% charge to be completed. Details on price and launch have not yet been revealed.
