Audi India has launched a Business Edition of the Q5 SUV, priced at Rs. 35.13 lakhs (ex-showroom Maharashtra), but deliveries of the new Q5 will commence in October. The new BMW X3 2011 is due for its launch on 25 August 2011, so this announcement of Audi Q5 comes precisely two days before the launch of new X3. It seems like Audi does not want its customer’s loyalty to shift towards rival BMW’s SUV. The new Q5 comes with some cosmetic improvement and an improved aesthetic appearance.
New Audi Q5 Business Edition features –
- 17” alloy wheels
- Xenon plus headlights including LED daytime running lights
- Leather / leatherette interiors with wood inlays
- Multifunctional 4-spoke leather steering wheel
- Audi Media Interface with Concert Radio
- Storage package
- Rear parking aid
“The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q is perfectly equipped to further strengthen our leadership position in the luxury SUV segment. As the Audi Q5 already has a broad fan base in India, this attractive price will now make this premium experience accessible to a wider customer base who aspire to own a luxury SUV endorsed by our ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’ philosophy. The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI q powered by a dynamic and efficient engine is also equipped with best in-class interior and infotainment features,” Michael Perschke, Head – Audi India, said.
