Mercedes-Benz has launched the new CLS 350 BlueEfficiency at a price tag of Rs of 67.67 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. It is powered by a V6, 3.5-litre petrol engine producing 306PS of power at 6500rpm and a peak torque of 370Nm between 3500-5250rpm. The car accelerates from 0-100 in 6.1 seconds and attains a top speed of 250kmph which is electronically limited. Transmission duties are taken care by the 7G-Tronic automatic.
The CLS is the first passenger car in the world to offer LED High Performance headlamps. This new light system provides, for the first time ever, the Intelligent Light System already proven in Mercedes models fitted with bi-xenon headlamps in combination with LED technology. The headlamps, with their 71 LED lamps in total, underline the appearance of the CLS. The car also features for the first time the LED technology, in the innovative Adaptive Highbeam Assist, resulting in an entirely new level of safety for night-time driving.

The new Mercedes CLS 350 will take on its competitors like the Audi A7 Sportback and the BMW 5 Series GT priced at Rs 64 lakh and 64.3 lakh respectively, ex-showroom Delhi.
