German automaker Mercedes-Benz is on a very aggressive strategy in India. It had launches in the last three weeks and will continue this extravaganza this week as well. The company will launch the new 2012 CLS-Class in Mumbai on the 8th of September, 2011. The 2012 Mercedes CLS will be brought into the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBT) and the 2012 Mercedes CLS price is expected to fall in the range of Rs 70 lakhs.
The Mercedes-Benz CLS is expected to house a 3.5 L, V6 petrol engine that is capable of producing 306 Bhp maximum power output and can make 100 kmph in just 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed that can be attained by the 2012 CLS-Class sedan is 250 kmph. The Mercedes CLS will rival the recently launched Audi A7.
