Japanese automaker, Yamaha revealed that its MT-07 is priced at £5,200 in UK, which is around INR 5.25 lakh. This information from Yamaha was revealed at the last-month’s EICMA Motor Show in Milan along with all the other new models revealed from various other companies across the globe. Since Yamaha’s MT-07 is equipped with latest features, Yamaha might also think of launching MT-07 in India at a price tag of INR 7-8 lakhs.
Yamaha’s MT-07 features 17″ inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, tubeless front and rear tyres, fully digital instrument console, ABS, fuel injection system, upside down forks at the front and adjustable hydraulic single shock suspension with aluminium casted swing-arm at the rear. It also features bold headlamps, LED tail lamps, air intake scoops, masculine fuel tank and mass forward naked design. Yamaha MT-07 is expected to compete the affordable superbikes such as Kawasaki Ninja 650R and Hyosung GT650R.
Coming to the technical specifications, the MT-07 is powered with an economical 689cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel twin power mill based on the Yamaha’s ‘Crossplane Philosophy’ producing maximum power of 73.8bhp @9,000rpm at a maximum torque of 69Nm @6,500rpm.
