Here are some first images of the 2020 Renault Kwid surfaced online today, thanks to bikeadvice.in for sharing very interesting spy pics. This completely camouflaged test car was spotted on the Pune-Bangalore highway.
Just days after the premiere of the Kwid K-ZE or the Kwid Electric at Auto Shanghai 2019, the regular Kwid has incorporated its front-end design with a new radiator grille, new split headlamps and a redesigned bumper which give the Kwid a muscular look.
The side profile remains identical to the current model and gets a new set of wheel caps while the rear gets tweaked tail lamps and a new bumper, with these changes it aims to appeal even more strongly to young buyers.
The interior may get a tweaked dashboard and new upholstery trim, and a new instrument cluster similar to that of the Renault City K-ZE too is expected. The 2020 Renault Kwid facelift will be launched later this-year or early next-year.
Expect the facelifted Kwid to be powered by BS-VI compliant 0.8L and 1.0L SCe three-cyl petrol engines churning-out 54 PS/72 Nm and 68 PS/91 Nm respectively. Transmission choices should remain the same; 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual.
