Bajaj Auto have recently introduced the Discover 110 CBS to the Indian market. This is after the Indian government’s decision to make ABS or CBS in two-wheelers as compulsory. The motorcycle has been launched at a price of Rs. 52,273 (ex-showroom).
After April 01, 2019 it has been passed that all two-wheelers having engine capacity above 125cc have to come with ABS as standard. On the other hand, two-wheelers having engine capacity below 125cc should have CBS as mandatory. Bajaj Auto did launch the Platina 110 CBS recently, and the company will be giving the Discover 110 a similar treatment.
Other than the addition of CBS, the motorcycle will remain the same. The Discover 110, launched last year, has been selling in good numbers. So, the addition of CBS will further enhance its desirability in the commuter segment.
The Discover 110 CBS is powered by an 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine makes 8.6 BHP of power and 9.81 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The Discover 110 CBS, priced at Rs. 52,273, costs Rs. 563 more than the non-CBS variant. It will rival the likes of the Hero Passion Pro 110, TVS Victor 110 and the Honda CD 110 CBS. Dealers are expected to receive their stocks soon and deliveries are set to commence thereafter.
