Toyota has officially revealed the new dual-tone Etios Liva with minor cosmetic changes in India, which is available in three dual-tone paint schemes – Ultramarine Blue, Vermillion Red and Super White – on the V and VX variants of the hatchback (VD and VXD in case of the diesel model).
The variants with new paint scheme features the sporty Roof Spoiler, new dual-tone painted contrast roof and pillars, bold front grille with black finish, Chrome Fog Lamp Bezels, Electrically Foldable ORVMs and Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels.
Although the interior layout remains the same as the standard model, it gets a piano black-finish instrument panel, new Optitron Combimeter and gloss-black inserts for the door-side arm rests. Further gains adjustable front headrests, removable rear headrests, 3D textured seat fabric and ISOFIX child seat locks.
There are no changes mechanically. The new dual-tone Etios Liva comes powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.4-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Its main rivals include the new Hyundai Grand i10, Tata Tiago and Maruti Swift.
